Description tbc
Cara’s Root to Rise class really helped me understand the body-mind connection better. After suffering a heartbreaking bereavement I had felt ‘stuck’ for years. Cara's class has helped me find my sense of Self again and helped me create a life of more joy and ease. The course brought such a sense of comfort to me and helped me work through some very overwhelming feelings. I now attend her weekly yoga classes to help ground me and keep me focused on building the life I want - one of physical and mental health.

Poem- The Wise Woman
In the midst of my darkness, the wise woman from the edge of the cosmos reached back to guide me.
She showed me the vastness of it all.
The immensity of this place called home.
How the rivers can both rage and trickle.
How the weather can kiss the earth to life, flood it or scorch it, depending on the day.
She showed me the steadiness of the mountains and the movement of the sands.
The dark shadows of the moon and the blazing brightness of the sun.
And the constant spiraling of it all. The ebb and flow. The ever emerging evolution of all things.
She showed me how these truths lie too within my own soul.
She reminded me of my own capacity to rage and to be still.
To show tenderness and ferocity.
To forgive and be forgiven.
To face abundance and loss.
To delight and to despair.
How a wide open heart has room for the immensity and intensity of all this life brings.
The secret she told me is to not hold on too tight to any of it. To let it all flow and be steady in the truth that something beautiful, mysterious, eternal is unfolding.
