About Cara

Welcome ladies!

Who I am

Mother. Partner. Friend. Daughter. Donaghadee dweller. Sunlight seeker. Poetry writer. Tree whisperer. Season watcher. Open-fire lover. Wilderness chaser. Labyrinth walker. Free dancer. Card player. Connection seeker. Hug lover. Weed eater. Mistake maker. Lifelong learner. Nervous system nerd.

Our modern lifestyle

filled with chronic stress, disconnect from our true nature and the nature around us, environmental toxins, fake food, a lack of community support, and messed-up sleep patterns – has created the perfect storm for health issues and leaving many of us burnt out, overwhelmed, exhausted and feeling lost. My passion as a Systematic Kinesiologist and Yoga teacher is to empower women – like you - with tools, based in ancient wisdom and supported by science, to help you prevent disease, restore health, boost your energy, and to live a more balanced, purposeful, joyful life – aligned with your true nature and the nature around you.

For many years, I was on a desperate, frantic chase for ‘health’ for myself and my children. I lost all sense of Self and innate worth in the world of motherhood and modern day demands. My journey was a confusing, self-sabotaging, frustrating, outward looking and lonely one. The turning point came when I realised that I alone had the responsibility and innate wisdom to build solid foundations from where my body, mind and soul could heal and ultimately thrive. I granted myself permission to create a life that felt vital, authentic and kind. It is now my joy to lead and accompany women on this journey of empowerment – so they too can get grounded in practices which will nourish their nervous systems, enabling them to truly rest, digest, heal and ultimately rise into the fullness of their infinite potential. We must first Root, then Rise! And we deserve to!

Poem- Just Right

Were you ever told you were too big, too loud, too much?

Or ever feel so small that you didn't count at all?

Pause right there.

Stop a moment and remember that you were born just right.

Fearfully and wonderfully made of stardust and earth.

In fact, you're so incredible it is nearly impossible that you're here at all - on this swirling ball of land and sea in the vastness of space.

You were born just right. With the right dreams and gifts to make the world a better place.

What would the world look like, YOUR world look like, if you believed that story?

The truth of your greatness, your completeness, your importance.

If you granted yourself forgiveness for mistakes you've made and committed to growth. Committed to softening towards yourself and the world around you.

I'm pretty sure your shoulders would drop, your belly would soften, your breath would deepen, you would smile and you would rise rooted in the truth of your story.
